Renowned for his incredible leadership skills, Karunanidhi served a DMK President and a five-time Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. He will be heartily remembered for his contribution to the national politics, cinema industry and the community welfare at large.

Most elite leaders including PM Modi have mentioned Chief Karunanidhi as a prolific thinker, generous and deep-rooted mass leader who fought for national progress and regional aspirations. The world will especially remember this departed soul due to his strong commitments to democratic prototypes and his steadfast opposition to the Emergency.

Throughout his life, the late Karunanidhi served all his people with love and dignity. His understanding of humanity and leadership gave him an added advantage that saw him appointed five times for the same leadership position. His thoughts and fight for equality among the marginalized put him in the spotlight as a caring and mindful leader of his time.
